Dennis C. Byrd Partner
Dennis is a Partner and co-founder of Beechwood Advisory Group. His career includes thirteen years of industry experience combined with sixteen years of consulting experience spanning the process and discrete manufacturing industries including 16 Fortune 500 companies. Prior to co-founding Beechwood Advisory Group, Dennis was with the consulting arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He has held leadership positions tied to business process transformation, JIT and productivity improvements, plant layout and capital justification, business strategy improvement, operations management, systems implementation, and establishing and maintaining strategic relationships.
Previously, Mr. Byrd managed a discrete consumer food products production facility where he implemented significant process improvements. Building on his “hands-on” perspective of plant operations, Dennis has managed and provided considerable subject matter insight for various process improvement initiatives with several multi-billion dollar clients. Preceding these activities, Mr. Byrd served in various technical / engineering capacities with the chemical operations of a major integrated oil company. In these roles, Dennis initiated and managed process improvements and successful turnarounds for several world-class chemical production facilities.

Richard R. Gregg Partner
Rich is a Partner and co-founder of Beechwood Advisory Group. He combines twelve years of consulting experience with five years of industry experience spanning numerous industries including industrial products, consumer products, energy, medical products and pharmaceuticals. Prior to co-founding Beechwood Advisory Group, Mr. Gregg was with the consulting arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He has held various leadership roles tied to complex project and program management, large-scale enterprise-wide systems implementation, IT strategy, business process diagnostics and process transformation. He has provided consulting services to 13 of the Fortune 500 companies and served as an advisor to numerous others. Previously, Mr. Gregg held various operations-oriented positions with the DuPont organization including roles in manufacturing management, strategic sourcing, project management and manufacturing engineering.
Rich has spoken at conferences and has conducted professional training classes on the subject of strategic sourcing, has lectured at the graduate level on various supply chain topics, served in the role of process and product auditor for the Management Roundtable American Product Excellence Awards (APEX), is a certified SAP consultant and has served as an instructor on the subject. Mr. Gregg has also served as an instructor and advisor tied to the general topics of Enterprise Resource Planning tools (ERPs) and the leveraged use of technology in business. He has attended training in FDA-cGMP methods, ISO9000 and Total Quality Management (TQM) techniques. Rich is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
